Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Earlier this week one of our PCSO's was on patrol on Camden High Street when she spotted a male who she recognised as having a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), she conducted checks and discovered that he was currently wanted as he had been recalled to prison by his probation officer.

When he realised the game was up he tried to flee the scene but our PCSO managed to keep up with him while talking in other units who arrested him, he has now been returned to prison until December and he bis also being investigated for breaching his SHPO.
